Fill out the following application online using Penn State's secure servers:
Application to the Graduate School - Select University Park (UP) as the campus location.
After submitting the Graduate School application, you will receive a PSU ID number via e-mail. To review descriptions of the Electrical Engineering Department research specialization areas, click here.

- Two official transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended, both undergraduate and graduate.
- International applicants must submit official or attested transcripts, with certified translations if the records are not in English. Notarized copies are not sufficient.

Transcript Request Form (if needed): Complete and Print – You must send this completed form to the university where you earned your B.S. and/or M.S. degree to request transcripts.

New Process Starting November 10, 2014
Beginning November 10, 2014 copies of transcripts, degree/study certificates and diplomas in the language of instruction from all institutions of higher education attended, both undergraduate and graduate, should be uploaded online as part of the Graduate School Application. If English is not the language of instruction, copies of all transcripts/documents in the English translation also must be uploaded.
Applicants recommended for admission will be notified by the Graduate School that official/original transcripts/documents and their official English translation must be sent from the originating institutions for review by the Graduate School, in order to finalize an admission decision. Notarized copies are not sufficient.
