Vitae
Paul T. Hulina is currently Director of the Center for Electronic Design,
Communication, and Computing in the College of Engineering at The Pennsylvania
State University. He holds academic appointments in both the Department of Electrical Engineering and
the Department of Computer Science
and Engineering. For the two year period from 1991 to 1993 he was on leave
at the National Science Foundation where
he served as a Program Director of the Systems Prototyping and Fabrication
Program in the MIPS Division. His current research interests include high-performance
processors, special purpose memory design, fine grain parallel processing,
and rapid prototyping of special purpose systems. Hulina received a BSEE from
Carnegie Mellon University and an
MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
He is a member of the IEEE
and the IEEE Computer Society, has served as a Distinguished Visitor of
the Computer Society, and is currently serving as an Associate Editor of
the Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems. |
