Vitae

James W. Robinson joined Penn State in 1966 as an assistant professor, and served many years in the Electrical Engineering Department as professor and director of academic affairs. 

His technical interests have included plasma diagnostics, the generation and application of ion and electron beams, and semiconductor processing equipment. Recently he has taught courses in power electronics and power systems for non-electrical engineering students.
