Welcome to ICDL !

The prime focus of our research lab is the exploration and development of novel design methodologies at the circuit and device levels for low power high performance variation tolerant VLSI systems in CMOS and post-CMOS technologies. A key component of our research is the co-design between different levels of abstraction with an objective to utilize the unique properties of the emerging technologies to optimize the efficiency of next generation computing and storage.

Specific areas of interest include (but are not limited to) device-circuit-layout co-design for sub-10nm technologies, circuit design based on steep switching devices, spin-tronics for memory and logic applications and development of physics-based and circuit-compatible compact models for emerging and exploratory technologies.

DARPA Young Faculty Award [October 28, 2016]

Dr. Gupta has received a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Young Faculty Award (YFA). The YFA program identifies and engages rising research stars in junior faculty positions at U.S. academic institutions and exposes them to Department of Defense (DOD) needs as well as DARPA's program development process.

Keynote Presentation in FEE'14 [March 25, 2014]

Dr. Gupta presented a keynote on- Low Power Robust Design of FinFET-based Circuits using a Technology-Circuit Co-optimization Approach
