There are 10 weekly homework assignments but you may also hand it in to the Homework Room in 106 E E East before 5 PM when it is due. It will be graded and returned in class and then left in the Homework Room for late pick up. Some homework problems are required to be solved using Touchstone. The latest Touchstone version will be available at the new PC lab (EE West 304). An old DOS version is also available, with no graphic user interface. If you are interested bring your TA a diskette for a copy of the old version.
The Laboratory will be scheduled during 3 two-hour sessions on
Wednedays from 3:35-5:25 PM
Thursdays from 3-5 PM and 6 - 8 PM. The laboratory instructor will be Nana Amoa.
Each Laboratory group will be assigned one of these times.
Attendance in the laboratory 218 EE East is required but laboratory facilities will be available during other times when the laboratory assistant is present. Each laboratory group will have 2 or 3 people who carry out the experiments. The same groups will design and fabricate an amplifiers as the Final Project which is 20 % of the grade in addition to the Laboratory work which is 15 % of the grade.
