I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University since Fall 2016. I received my B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and a M.S. and PhD degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, all in Electrical Engineering. I was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas.

My research interests lie in the optimization and control of networked systems, statistical learning and inference, and information theory. I received an NSF CAREER award in 2015.

I am a member of Wireless Communications and Networking Laboratory (WCAN).

Prospective Students:

Graduate Research Assistant positions are available in the areas of optimization in networked systems, and statistical signal processing and learning. Prospective students with strong mathematical background and experiences in theoretical analysis are welcome to apply. Please contact me by email with a resume, preferably with math and major engineering course grades, if you are interested.
